Two-Way Trunks

Primary Rate Interface T-1 (PRI)
For faster out-of-band signaling, PRI utilizes 23 channels for inbound and outbound calling and the 24th or 'D' channel for signaling information. This allows for better delivery of ANI (automatic number identification) and DNIS (dialed number identification service).
